Designed with senior golfers in mind
Ever since the establishment of Chinderah Golf we have developed a close relationship with the senior golfers of the Tweed.
Our course was designed keeping senior golfers in mind, with men’s and ladie’s tees and a carefully designed, user friendly layout which provides a great challenge yet has an easy flowing park-like feel about it.
We have an established seniors group with over 850 male and female members who play every Monday and Thursday in a fully organised competition with a time sheet starting at 6.00 am and finishing at 10.30. We have 3 grades with winner & runner-up prizes, plus a ball run down and near the pin prizes. The game and competition fees are only $12.00.
To join our seniors group we have a once only fee of $30.00 and no annual fees. We manage an in-house handicap system similar to an AGU rated handicap system which is updated twice weekly and posted on our board outside the pro shop along with the competition results. We have monthly medals and a club championship which is hotly contested.
